1. General Terms

By registering for an account and playing on PokerStars, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued use of the service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

2. Account Registration

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to participate in real money games. You must be a resident of a jurisdiction where online gaming is legal.

One Account

Each player is permitted to open only one account. Duplicate accounts will be closed, and any associated funds may be forfeited.

Verification

We reserve the right to request proof of identity and address at any time (Know Your Customer/KYC). Failure to provide documents may result in account suspension.

3. Financial Transactions

All deposits and withdrawals must be made using payment methods registered in your own name. We reserve the right to process withdrawals using the same method used for depositing. You are responsible for declaring any winnings to the relevant tax authorities in your jurisdiction.

We hold player funds in segregated accounts, separate from operational funds.
We reserve the right to run credit checks on all cardholders with third-party credit agencies.

4. Prohibited Activities

We have a zero-tolerance policy towards cheating and fraud.

Collusion: Working together with other players to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
Bots: The use of artificial intelligence, "bots", or auto-folders to play on your behalf is not allowed.
Chip Dumping: Intentionally losing chips to another player is a violation of our terms.
Multi-Accounting: Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or abuse bonuses.

5. Liability

PokerStars is not liable for any losses incurred through your use of the service. You acknowledge that there is a risk of losing money when gambling and that you are fully responsible for any such loss. We are not liable for any technical malfunctions, internet connection failures, or device issues that may affect your gameplay.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, is the property of PokerStars or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You are granted a limited license to access and make personal use of this site, but not to download (other than page caching) or modify it without express written consent.

7. Warranties and Indemnification

The service is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. You agree to indemnify and hold PokerStars harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Isle of Man. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Isle of Man.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
